Further Resources

There are some great resources to capture your experiences.

1 Second Everyday – a video app which allows you to film a second film everyday for a certain amount of time. In the end, it puts it together into a beautiful film.

Padlet – a group of students can share and collaborate on posts from around the world

Maptia – a beautiful way to share stories. On Maptia you can share stories about the places that mean the most to you, and join them in building the most inspirational map in the world.

OhLife – a great reminder to your email to write in private about you life.

750 words –  The idea is that if you can get in the habit of writing three pages a day, that it will help clear your mind and get the ideas flowing for the rest of the day.  This is writing, and it’s online, but it’s not blogging, or Twittering, or Facebook status updating. This is between you and you.

10q – Answer one question per day in your own secret online 10Q space. Make your answers serious. Silly. Salacious. However you like. It’s your 10Q. When you’re finished, hit the magic button and your answers get sent to the secure online 10Q vault for safekeeping. One year later, the vault will open and your answers will land back in your email inbox for private reflection.

The Six Word Memoir – Legend has it that Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in only six words. His response? “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”  Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to inspire conversation around a big idea, and a simple way for individuals to break the ice.
